Mountains, rivers free games, tiny villages, historic sites, national parks, and vibrant cities abound between Maine and Florida, and you might spend a lifetime visiting this region and yet miss out on some of its splendor. Many places on the East Coast deserve the adjective "beautiful," but we could only choose a select handful.
